In 2007 my friend Nathan opened up Quills Coffee. The store reflected the 3rd wave coffee movement, but needed some time to develop its own personal brand. After a couple of years of refining its aesthetic, Nathan and I sat down and started hammering out some brand identity items. The end product was a simple, industrial, utilitarian coffee bag application. After that, we began building all of their other print material.
